Activity:
A disused semi-circular shaped bridge Control Room, available for creative projects, rent free and available from BCC arts team (see contact below). Projects or exhibitions can only be viewed from the outside by passersby.
‘There was that time when there were tomatoes growing in there… On my daily commute I loved watching them gradually bear fruit.’ Growroom: a collaboration between Ruth Essex and The College Kitchen Garden, showing you can grow food anywhere – even on a bridge (2012).
