Activity:
The Looking glass dates back to 1241, and as Bristol’s first coaching house, accommodated guests such as Elizabeth I, Charles I, II and Oliver Cromwell. Between 2012-13 Rolling Stage & The Motorcycle Showrooms presented and produced cutting edge works covering Live Music, DJs, Performance Art, Theatre, Installation and Visual Art.
Neon Studios, above The Looking Glass, was home to a small group of artists, ‘from different disciplines but with similar attitudes’.
Status: Inactive
Future: Bought by the Rummer Hotel, for expansion and redevelopment.
